XL Catlin’s insurance operations today announced that it has extended its partnership with S-RM, the leading specialist risk and business intelligence consultancy, effective January 1^st, 2017. S-RM becomes XL Catlin’s provider of choice for delivering kidnap response services to XL Catlin’s Kidnap & Ransom policy holders, worldwide. The company has put together a team, dedicated to XL Catlin, of 18 highly experienced professionals across the world, qualified to help prevent and respond to kidnap and ransom incidents as well as crises like, political evacuation, maritime piracy, active assailant attacks and workplace violence. XL Catlin’s clients will have access to advisory services designed to help prevent and respond to kidnap, ransom or extortion events. S-RM’s services include full access to S-RM’s Global Security Insight platform providing information on political and security risks.
