XL Catlin’s insurance operations today announced it has appointed Toni LePine to the position of Senior Underwriter - Head of Retail Accident & Health for UK & Ireland. Commenting on the appointment, Patrick Corbett, XL Catlin’s Global Chief Underwriting Officer for Retail Accident & Health said: “ We are building out our global Retail Accident and Health team because we recognise there is a distinct opportunity to bring something different to the market in terms of coverage and servicing. We know that having the right talent on board is crucial to our success and that is why I am delighted to welcome Toni to the team. Ms. LePine joins XL Catlin from RSA with over 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry. Most recently she held the position of Accident & Health Leader at RSA, responsible for the management of their portfolio and technical capability. Prior to this she held numerous underwriting management roles, including Personal Accident Manager and Professional Indemnity Underwriting Manager.
