XL Catlin’s insurance operations announced the appointment of David Mutton as Senior Underwriter, Casualty for Australia. Mr. Mutton will be based in Melbourne, and reports to Rory Morison, Head of International Casualty for XL Catlin’s insurance business in Asia Pacific.

Commenting on Mr. Mutton’s appointment, Mr. Morison said: “We’re delighted to welcome David to the team. He brings with him a wealth of technical and  commercial expertise which will further strengthen our Casualty offering at a time when demand for coverage is on the rise across Australia.”

Mr. Mutton has over 15 years’ experience in the insurance industry, specialising in corporate and commercial casualty. He joins XL Catlin from Zurich Australian É«¶à¶àÊÓƵ Limited, where he held the position of Underwriting Manager, Energy & Construction in the Corporate Casualty team . Prior to Zurich, Mr. Mutton had worked at Zurich Global Energy, ACE É«¶à¶àÊÓƵ Limited, AIG Europe (UK) and Jardine Lloyd Thompson Australia.​
