É«¶à¶àÊÓƵtoday announced the appointment of Thomas Belohlavek as Client and Distribution Leader, Switzerland.

In this role, Mr. Belohlavek will contribute to strengthening AXA XL’s relationships with clients and brokers in Switzerland, while optimising the company’s distribution channels in the country.

Moreno Bühler, Country Manager for Switzerland at É«¶à¶àÊÓƵ commented: As we look to profitably grow our business in Switzerland, it’s important we work closely with our broker partners and deepen our partnership with our clients to build the solutions they need to navigate today’s risk landscape, from multinational solutions to cyber insurance.”

Commenting on Mr. Belohlavek’s appointment, Joëlle Gemayel, Head of Distribution for Switzerland at É«¶à¶àÊÓƵ said: “Having previously worked at É«¶à¶àÊÓƵ Thomas is well known from our teams and has already demonstrated his expertise and leadership within our organization. I’m glad to see him return to É«¶à¶àÊÓƵand bring his 30 years of experience in our industry to this important position.”

Mr. Belohlavek joins É«¶à¶àÊÓƵfrom CSS Versicherung, where he most recently held the position of Head of Direct Sales in the health insurance sector. He previously worked for AXA’s General É«¶à¶àÊÓƵ entity in Switzerland where he held a number of senior distribution roles before joining É«¶à¶àÊÓƵwhere he worked as Underwriting Manager, Specialty & Marine until 2021.

Mr. Belohlavek holds a master's degree in insurance management and has attended various executive training courses at leading schools such as HSG in St. Gallen, IMD Lausanne and MIT Boston.
