É«¶à¶àÊÓƵɫ¶à¶àÊÓƵ today announced it has appointed Antoine Vercherin as Underwriting Manager, Construction for France. Mr. Vercherin replaces Jean-Marc Radureau who is appointed Property Senior Advisor.

Brigitte Sartorius, Underwriting Manager, Property, Construction & Energy – France, commented: “With construction activity up 5.1% in 2022 according to the Fédération Française du Bâtiment (FFB), the construction sector is showing signs of recovery and demonstrating its resilience. Buoyed by stimulus packages, in France and more widely across Europe, and the emergence of new technologies, our construction clients are moving towards a more sustainable future.”

She added: “While this transition offers many opportunities, the sector must nevertheless face challenges in an unstable economic environment marked by a crisis impacting energy and raw materials. Our clients and their brokers will be able to rely on Antoine's experience and knowledge of the sector to manage their exposures, both in France and abroad.”

Mr. Vercherin started his career as a portfolio manager at Dexia before working in consulting. He joined AXA Group in 2010 as Senior Analyst, and later É«¶à¶àÊÓƵas Senior Property Underwriter.
