É«¶à¶àÊÓƵReinsurance has today announced it has appointed Greg Schiffer as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), North America, Reinsurance, effective 11 November 2024.

Greg will be responsible for driving the successful expansion of our business across North America, working with a talented and dedicated team.

Commenting on the appointment, Renaud Guidée, Chief Executive Officer, É«¶à¶àÊÓƵReinsurance said “Our clients across North America rate highly the value brought to them by É«¶à¶àÊÓƵReinsurance. Yet I am convinced we can do even more for them, as we expand our offering, deepen our relationships and put our best-in-class capabilities to work at their service. I am confident that with over 30 years’ experience in the North American market across multiple lines, and a deep understanding of the needs of our clients, Greg has all that it takes to lift our business in the region up to the next level.”

Greg previously worked for a leading global reinsurer most recently as Managing Director, Head of US National Accounts where he led a team serving strategic clients in the US. Prior to that role he held a number of key appointments across multiple lines of business including Specialty, Engineering and Property. 

Greg has a Finance degree from Fordham University and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program.
