É«¶à¶àÊÓƵɫ¶à¶àÊÓƵ today announced it has appointed Karolina Ostermaier as Head of Casualty and Motor for Germany. Based in Munich, she will take on this role in addition to her current position as Head of Financial Lines.

Commenting the appointment, Peter Knaus, Country Manager, Germany and Regional Manager, Northern Europe at É«¶à¶àÊÓƵ said: "Our clients and brokers are facing evolving and new risks, especially in Casualty. The energy transition, ESG considerations and social inflation are just some of the challenges impacting their global insurance programmes, and for which they turn to us for support.”

He added: “Since joining, Karolina has demonstrated her technical expertise and client focus. I am convinced that our Casualty and Motor underwriting teams will benefit from her leadership to expand our portfolio in Germany.”

After studying business administration in Warsaw and Frankfurt (Oder), Karolina Ostermaier began her professional career at Allianz. Before joining É«¶à¶àÊÓƵ she held a number of leadership positions at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) and Generali Global Corporate & Commercial Germany.
