STAY SHARP WITH THE É«¶à¶àÊÓƵEDGE
Our online risk portal, the EDGE (also referred to as the Learning Management System) has been educating architects and engineers for years – helping to reduce risk and prevent design professional related claims. The name is an acronym that stands for Educate, Develop, Grow and Engage. Those four words signify what we strive to accomplish for our architect and engineer insured clients every day.
Learn and earn! Our loss prevention education program was designed specifically for architects and engineers. Not only are our continuing education courses free, they offer architects and engineers the ability to earn professional development hours along with premium credit.* Some courses are even HSW qualified. Visit our Education Catalog for Architects and Engineers to browse our course offerings. Case studies and workshops can be delivered in person or virtually, while eLearning courses and webinars in the EDGE are online and taken at the convenience of the client.

Disclaimer: 1Each policy year, firms that successfully complete an approved continuing education program can earn premium credit (in the US: up to 10% credit for the first $5 million in coverage; in Canada: up to $10,000 max on the first $5 million of coverage). An additional 15% credit can be earned with the use of a Limitation of Liability clause – applicable only in the US. Programs are registered with the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and units earned by architects are directly reported to the AIA by AXA XL’s Design Professional team. Engineers can generally use certificates of completion to self-report Professional Development Hours. Not all states/provinces and licensing boards accept these programs for Learning Units, and some do not recognize the Health, Safety, and Welfare (HSW) qualification.
